Family owned business started by Gary Stiegler's father Rene Stiegler, Jr.
Origin in shipping dates back to family ownership of a paddlewheel steamer "BELLE CREOLE" from the 1800's.
Grandfather of Gary Stiegler was Executive Director of the Port of New Orleans, La. under Governor Huey Long from 1929-1940.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our longevity in the business is attributable to an honest and ethical approach to working with our customers.
Experience counts. We are one of the only surviving, family owned and operated shipping companies that is only domiciled in Mobile, Alabama.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We only have 1 location in Mobile, Alabama but work on a world-wide basis. We do handle vessel agency in the ports of Pascagoula, Ms.; Mobile, AL; Pensacola, Panama City and Port Manatee (Tampa), FL. from our office in Mobile.
Other ports are handled through our sub-agency agreements.
